Their Leyland P76 started out in Oamaru in 1974. It was bought new by a local farmer, a Mr Rapson, who owned it untill 2005. It was probably not the main family car as to date it has only done 53,000 miles. It was bought in March 2005 by enthusiast Brian Tuffey, also in Oamaru who kept it until April 2006 when it was purchased by the Brian and Colleen Francis. The car is still in the condition it was when they purchased it except for the minor paint touch ups they have done. It had no extras except mud flaps and underseal. They have added a tow bar and a venetian blind to the rear window.
It is Crystal White with a black interior, T/bar auto, 4.4 litre V8 Super. This car won the People's Choice Award at the 2010 A.G.M. as shown in the photo.
