This is a 1973 Holden Statesman de Ville acquired from an elderly gent in Wanganui who had loved it for 35 years as the third owner. Upon buying it from him Don had it fully stripped, any rust removed and then repainted in the original metallic brown paint. The interior had been well protected by seat covers so when they were removed the original chocolate brocade was all in amazing order. The engine bay was also completely tidied up and the carbs on the 5-litre V8 reconditioned. Finally some new period rims and tyres were put on it. As the car has only done 136,000 original KMs it drives great and now looks a treat.
